Food Stylist - Mediterra by Ben Tish

I worked as a food stylist with Executive Chef, Ben Tish and the Bloomsbury production team on location and in the studio over a period of 10 days to style the 70+ dishes for this outstanding book, Mediterra which was shot by award winning London photographer, Kris Kirkham. Mediterra, published by Bloomsbury, is a mouthwatering book full of sumptuous pictures. It has gained a revered spot on the Andrea Simon Long List as well as numerous plaudits from leading food journalists.

PlateUp - Lead Development Chef

PlateUp is an innovative recipe and grocery shopping app which aims to make cooking from fresh as easy as possible. The app has approachable recipes and clever technology which converts your chosen dishes into a shopping order with your favourite supermarket.

I worked with PlateUp for a year during their start up phase. A key part of their strategy was to bring on board content from celebrity chefs. I was responsible for pre-planning with the wider production team, food preparation and shot planning as well as food styling on production days with celebrity chefs they were partnered with such as Levi Roots, The Alberti Twins and Alex Hollywood.

Jekka’s

Jekka’s is an award winning herb farm and cookery school with 62 Gold Medals at Chelsea Flower Show. Based just north of Bristol, Jekka’s specialises in top of the range herbs which are often different to those you would get from mainstream growers. As part of launching their new range of herb boxes, Jekka’s food styling brief was to create appealing pictures for their website to complement the recipes which were sent out on the recipe cards.

I styled and shot pictures for Jekka’s which were featured on their recipe as well as on recipe cards which went into the boxes.
